About Me

tlmiller_2_outdoorsI have been quilting since 2004 when I asked a friend to teach me the appliqué stitch so I could repair a quilt of my mother’s that had seen some wear.  I have never fixed the quilt.  Instead, I made a table runner, added appliqué, and I have been hooked on quilting ever since.

I quilt for others, everything from piecing to long-arm quilting.  If you have a project that you purchased, or started, and no longer have the time (or motivation) to complete, I complete projects as well.   Feel free to contact me; I’d love to work with you.

My stash of fabric is outrageous.  I once asked my friend what a “stash” was and why I would need one.  Wouldn’t I just buy the fabric I needed for the project I was making?   She laughed, as well she should have.  Fast forward all these years later and I have built my stash to mammoth proportions.  I could literally quilt for 10 years without having to purchase any more fabric.  Well…I might need to buy fabric for a quilt back, or an accent piece here or there, and they keep coming out with new fabric lines…

I piece my quilts on a Pfaff Quilt Expression 2046 and I started doing ruler work on my domestic earlier this year.  I am in love with ruler work.  My longarm machine (Mabel) is an HQ Avante that resides in my basement.  2017 was the year of the longarm – and I’m so happy to have welcomed Mabel into my home.

I am a mother, a grandmother, a sister, a daughter, and a friend.  My two children are grown and I am blessed with a granddaughter who currently has more quilts than anyone else in the family.

There is That is all about my adventures in life and quilting.

Welcome to my world.
